Privacy Policy.
This site is built to be quiet. We use no tracking cookies, no analytics, and no advertising or marketing pixels. This policy explains exactly what the site does collect — only when you choose to contact us or access the client portal — and how that information is handled.
In short
Browsing this site is anonymous. We set no tracking cookies and run no analytics. We only receive personal information when you deliberately submit it — through the contact brief or the client portal — and we use it only to respond to you and to operate the portal. We do not sell or share your information for marketing.

Who we are
Ancaire ("we," "us") operates this website at ancaire.co. For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, we are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy matters at privacy@ancaire.co.
What we do not do
We want to be specific, because most websites cannot say this:
- We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
- We do not run analytics platforms (no Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or similar).
- We do not embed advertising or social-media tracking pixels.
- We do not build profiles of visitors or track you across other websites.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
The only value this site stores on your device is a small, non-identifying flag that remembers you dismissed the privacy notice, so it does not reappear on every visit. It contains no personal information and is used for nothing else.
What we collect, and when
We only collect personal information at the moments you choose to give it to us. There are two such moments:
1. When you send us a brief or contact request
If you complete the brief form on our Engage page, we receive the information you enter so that we can read your request and reply. The form is delivered to us by email.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your name | To know who we are responding to. |
| Your email address | To reply to your request. |
| Your role / company context | To understand the request and respond usefully. |
| Your message (the brief) | It is the substance of what you are asking us. |
2. When you use the client portal
The client portal is for existing clients. When you attempt to sign in, or submit an access-recovery request, the system records details of the attempt for security and support purposes.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address entered | To identify the account and respond to support requests. |
| Last name & company (recovery only) | To help us locate the correct account. |
| IP address & approximate location | Security — detecting and investigating unauthorized access attempts. |
| Browser/device (user-agent) and referring page | Security and basic troubleshooting of access issues. |
| Date and time of the attempt | Security record-keeping. |
Why we are allowed to use it (lawful basis)
Where data-protection law (such as the EU/UK GDPR) requires a lawful basis, ours are:
- Your request / steps toward an engagement — when you contact us, we process your information to respond and, where relevant, to take steps at your request before entering into an engagement.
- Legitimate interests — operating the client portal securely, investigating suspicious access, and keeping basic records of access attempts. We balance these interests against your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.
Who processes it for us
We keep the number of third parties deliberately small. The information above is handled by:
- Cloudflare — our hosting and content-delivery provider. As with any website, Cloudflare processes basic technical request data (such as IP addresses and request metadata) at the network level to serve the site and protect it from abuse. This happens at the infrastructure layer for all visitors and is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy terms.
- Resend — our transactional email provider. When you submit the brief form or trigger a portal notification, Resend delivers that email to us and processes its contents for that purpose.
We do not use any other analytics, advertising, or data-broker services.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and brief submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable record of our correspondence, then delete them when they are no longer needed. Portal access logs are kept only as long as useful for security and support, and then discarded. If you would like your information removed sooner, contact us and we will honor reasonable requests.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information — including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its use, or receive a copy. Residents of the EU/UK, California, and other jurisdictions with privacy laws have specific statutory rights of this kind.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@ancaire.co. We will respond within a reasonable time and within any period required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority, though we hope you will contact us first so we can help.
Children
This is a business-to-business professional services site. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
International visitors
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be handled as described in this policy. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for any international transfer.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
